About the Doctor

dr dunneDr. Dennis Dunne has been providing excellent pediatric dental care since 1995. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University and completed a pediatric residency at Baylor University at Texas Scottish Rite and Children’s Medical Center Hospitals in Dallas.

To become a pediatric dental specialist Dr. Dunne had to complete a minimum 24 months in advanced training accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of the American Dental Association (ADA) after completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He performed this training at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas where such a program was designed to provide special knowledge and skills. At this program Dr. Dunne was required to provide care, conduct research and teach in a variety of clinical and academic settings including private practice and public health.

Dr. Dunne is a member of a number of prestigious organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Oregon Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Lane County Dental Society. Dr. Dunne is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

To give back to the community, he volunteers with Birth to 3, Head Start, Healthy Tomorrows and the Children’s Dental Clinic. His office routinely performs dental screenings for local elementary school children in the Eugene, Springfield and Bethel School Districts. Dr. Dunne also participates in the Miles of Smiles Run to raise money for wellness programs at local school districts. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family, sports, traveling and exploring local destinations.
